Meet Our Community Engagement Officer - Karlie

We sat down with Karlie and asked her a quick 4 questions and below are her answers.

1. Tell us a bit about yourself

Originally from the Adelaide Hills but now living in the Riverland with my husband, 3 kids, 3 horses, 2 dogs, 1 cat and a turtle named Frankie!

2. What do you do to keep a healthy headspace?

I don’t like feeling couped up and I love the outdoors so I like to go clear my head by going for a walk, spending time with my horses and heading down the river with my family.

3. What are your interests and passions?

I have been involved with sport all my life and have been very lucky to have made lifelong friends, travelled interstate and be awarded one of the first pitching scholarships in Australia with softball. I continue to be actively involved with kids sport and am passionate about young regional people being given opportunity to grow and develop and believe sport can play a huge role in a young person’s wellbeing .

Cookies and biscuits are OK but I love cookie dough more!
