We are delighted to announce Sportsgirl as a Strategic Capability Corporate Partner, recognising the valued support we have received from our partnership since 2021.
Funds raised by Sportsgirl support yarnspace, an area of the headspace Online Community that is specifically targeted to support the social and emotional wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people.
Funding from Sportsgirl will enable headspace to;
- Create digital content, engaging young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in storytelling and shared experiences to promote and connect others to the service.
- Run a targeted and long-term (12 month) digital marketing campaign to connect, engage and convert Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people into users of the service.
- Raise awareness for the yarnspace service and increase attendance and engagement in the chats. Our initial goal is to see an increase in attendance by 25% in the first 6 months, with a long-term goal of 2,400 logins during the chats and 5,500 young people benefiting from replaying yarnspace transcripts.
The support from Sportsgirl will help reach many more Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people and support their social and emotional wellbeing in a way that is culturally safe and supported by headspace clinicians.
Sportsgirl raise funds for headspace by donating a percentage of sales of tote bags in their stores throughout Australia.
